As I\u2019m sure you\u2019re aware, choosing what you want your logo to say is very important business. When your target audience sees it, they will immediately draw stereotypes and conclusions about your business by what you present to them. It\u2019s important that they make a bond with that image. It\u2019s easy to see that people have a bond with animals. It\u2019s only natural that they would want to use them symbolically to represent their businesses in a logo design. Maybe they want to convey the fierceness of a grizzly bear, or since they work with horses they want to identify with them. As there are many different animals in the world, they are graphically stylized in many different ways. In this post you\u2019ll see some cute animals, others are intense and passionate, then some are stylized to the point they\u2019re just hinted at.<\/p>\n

Aspen Cove Lodge and Resort | by usef44<\/b><\/h2>\n

Located in Southern Utah, Aspen Cove is opening as a large lakeside lodge and resort. Vacationing at Aspen Cove will give you access to 20 cottages, a restaurant and full bar, an RV park, quad, snowmobile, and boat rentals, and pony trekking. They are just 20 minutes from a large ski resort and offer a gorgeous view of the lake and mountains.cheap oakley oil rig sunglasses<\/a><\/p>\n

They wanted a logo that was simple but still featured a fish, pine trees, mountains and a body of water. Positioning the fish in the foreground of the illustration gives it the impression that it\u2019s jumping out of the water! The golden color used for Aspen Cove, the Fish, and the Frame contrast beautifully with the back background. Trajan Pro was used for the font, always a classy choice.<\/p>\n

\"Bee<\/a>air jordan 11 retro low<\/a><\/p>\n

Bee Toxin Free Cleaning | by prodesign<\/b><\/h2>\n

<\/b>Specializing in natural cleaning services, Bee Toxin Free Cleaning was looking for a fun logo with a bee mascot.<\/p>\n

This logo from prodesign features an original bee mascot design, cleverly holding a mop made from leaves (helps tie in the \u201cgreen\u201d aspect). The bee looks fun, happy, and a little enthusiastic. That\u2019s all just from looking at the face! The color combination is bright, the green helps tie into the \u201cnatural\u201d theme of the logo and the blue reminds me of a bright sky. Toxin Free Cleaning stands out clearly in white against the blue.<\/p>\n

\"Early<\/a>green oakley sunglasses<\/a><\/p>\n

Early Bird & Night Owl Cafe | by wendeesigns<\/b><\/h2>\n

Early Bird and Night Owl is a coffee cafe seeking to attract customers at all hours of the day and night. They\u2019ve chosen an owl for the symbol of their logo.<\/p>\n

Wendeesigns took the notes about the day and nighttime and cleverly created an owl that rises early on one side and is wide awake on the night side. Gives off a little bit of a Two-Face vibe from Batman, but thats cool with me! The wings outstretch over the text, visually showing how long they\u2019re open (for the early birds and night owls, haha). Brown is a natural color to associate with coffee, and looks good with the orange to represents the night life.<\/p>\n

\"FireBee\"<\/a><\/p>\n

FireBee | by avatar<\/b><\/h2>\n

An online fire extinguisher and safety shop, FireBee wanted to get a complete rebranding that included a new website and their new name (the old one was Fire Extinguisher Store). They get fire safety equipment to any business that requires them on site.<\/p>\n

This bee by avatar seems happy to offer an extinguisher to you. The outstretched hand adds depth, which is always interesting to the viewer. I like that the right hand of the bee is behind his back, it reminds me of a butler ready to serve. Notice the little flame as the dot in the \u201ci\u201d, a very nice touch.<\/p>\n

\"MarcoPolo\"<\/a><\/h2>\n

Marco Polo | by catalin<\/b><\/h2>\n

Drawn to the image of a Marco Polo Sheep, Marco Polo is a small import\/export business. They wanted an abstract representation of said sheep in brown and light blue.Oakley sunglasses USA<\/a><\/p>\n

Catalin delivers with this image, nicely silhouetted and shaded in front of the blue circle. The Marco Polo Sheep have a distinct white fur underbelly and neck, so using the brown to outline the animal was a clever way to incorporate that. I love how the sheep seems to be standing strong and firm by the straightness of his front legs.<\/p>\n

\"Nebraska<\/a><\/h2>\n

Nebraska Stud | by theenkpositive<\/b><\/h2>\n

A breeding facility and horse farm, Nebraska Stud is home to a ranch and stables. They work with AQHA and APHA stallions. Being from Nebraska, they wanted to use Nebraska Football\u2019s red color.<\/p>\n

Because of their mane and nature to run, horse design tend to work well as abstract, forward moving logos. This design has a beautiful horse head, mane blowing in the wind. The strong lines used to create the top of the head and jawline visually indicate strength in their studs.The red is paired with black on a white background, one of the most powerful color combinations.air jordan Online Shop<\/a><\/p>\n

\"nody\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Nody | by moomoo<\/b><\/h2>\n

Nody is a brand new department that develops toys for babies and toddlers. They also produce medical products for kids. Part of their goal is to educate and assist child development, from pregnant mothers to right before kids become teens.<\/p>\n

I just want to play with those dinosaurs, don\u2019t you? They look so playful and loving towards one another. I love the choice of pink and purples. Too many times baby themed logos go for bright reds, blues, and yellows. This is refreshing option. The illustration is nicely done, with a touch of shading mixed in. It\u2019s easy to recognize them as dinosaurs. The font is also playful, all lowercase, the \u201cd\u201d a little squashed, the \u201co\u201d a little too open.<\/p>\n

\"Penguin<\/a><\/p>\n

Penguin Automotive | by Shida<\/b><\/h2>\n

Using the motto \u201cSuited for Service!,\u201d Penguin Automotive works on a variety of automotive service and repairs. They specifically specialize in trailer repair & modification, and welding services.<\/p>\n

The penguin for this logo need to be strong and confident, in contrast to the cute, playful way penguins are usually seen. Shida accomplishes this with arms crossed, wrench in hand. The wide brim of the beak, usually seen as a smile, acts as a cocky grin on the penguins face. Plus the way the eyebrows and arch of the black on the head curve down add to the confident look of this penguin.<\/p>\n

\"Rhyon<\/a><\/h2>\n

Rhyon Studios | by VhienceFX<\/b><\/h2>\n

This startup studio works in video game design, video production, and photography. They loved the idea of using a phoenix type bird for a logo, a dragon, or something with the curves of the Counter Logic Gaming logo.<\/p>\n

VhienceFX has delivered a strong and powerful logo with this icon. Now I\u2019ll be honest, I typically dislike when letters reflect on one another, causing one to be seen as backwards. But this is the exception. The \u201cR\u201ds that create the wings are abstract enough that I don\u2019t really notice the backwards one on the right. It\u2019s a striking balance between the letters, and the wings\/tail.<\/p>\n

\"SharynWalker\"<\/a><\/h2>\n

Sharyn Walker Equine Photography | by jones12<\/b><\/h2>\n

Sharyn Walker is a professional photographer who specializes in equine photography. She is expanding her business with a new logo.<\/p>\n

As mentioned earlier, horses by nature make for impressive graphics. This design puts a horse icon inside of camera shutters, literally showing what the business is about! The horse itself has an interesting flow, with the mane\u2019s hair flowing the the left and the horse\u2019s body moving at the bottom to the right. This motion, paired with the purple and grey color combination, make a subtly feminine impression.<\/p>\n

\"Smiling<\/a><\/p>\n

Smiling Seal Sewing | by Day2DayDesigns<\/b><\/h2>\n

This is for a small town, Alaskan based quilting and craft shop. Smiling Seal sells supplies to quilters and crafters. They also offer quilting classes. Their customers are typically women in the 35-65+ age range.<\/p>\n

Smiling Seal had been using a hand drawn logo of a seal poking its head out of the water, wrapped in a circular frame. This idea is carried over in their new logo, but broken out of the seal. This particular design features very clean line art to create the seal and small impression of the wave at the bottom. Between the eyes and slightly open mouth, this looks like one happy seal!<\/p>\n

\"Temple<\/a><\/p>\n

Temple Wildcat Athletics | by Sorjen<\/b><\/h2>\n

After achieving a lot of success on various sports fields, Temple High School in Texas decided it was time to upgrade from their 1970\u2019s looking clipart cat design. They have a large school with a growing athletic department.<\/p>\n

This new design by Sorjen is clean and beautiful. Notice how the gray interacts inside of the royal blue outline. It creates interesting shadows and the hair on the cheek of the Wildcat. This is one of my favorite styles for athletic mascots. As a bonus the expression on the Wildcat is neutral-aggressive, energetic enough for the seniors, but friendly enough for the up and coming middle-schoolers.<\/p>\n

\"Whitetail<\/a><\/h2>\n

Whitetail Insurance | by boybod40<\/b><\/h2>\n

Taking their name from the whitetail deer, Whitetail insurance aims to be a one-shop shop for their customers insurance needs. They offer many options including life, home, and auto.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll notice a clean and athletic style deer, light grey in the background. While I would like to see it more in the forefront, it\u2019s saved by an interesting font. The \u201ct\u2019s\u201d dropping below the baseline and the roundness of the \u201ce\u201d and \u201ca\u201d add some great character to the name.<\/p>\n

\"zenkitten\"<\/a><\/p>\n

ZenKitten | by avatar<\/b><\/h2>\n

Cats are king at ZenKitten. With zeal and enthusiasm they produce cat related products including toys, food, accessories, and services.<\/p>\n

Front and center is a very cute kitten. You\u2019ll see a similar style used inside the black outline of the kitten with the grey color as in the Temple Wildcat logo. This creates the white fur on the mouth and paws of the kitty. The pink and black combo really pop off of the white background, a feminine version of the powerful red, black, and white combination.<\/p>\n
