- Logo Name：
- Company Intro：
- Lafiya Nigeria is a non-profit that distributes self-injectable contraceptives (DMPA-SC; trade name: Sayana Press) in rural parts of northern Nigeria. Target audience are two types: I) The initiative is based in Nigeria and the users are women of reproductive age (16-45), II) our media presence is mostly aimed at government officials, health authorities, researchers, potential donors, and grantmaking organisations in Nigeria, UK, US, and Canada. This audience is more important for the logo design.
- Style: modern, classic, slightly feminine, evoking ideas of health and trustworthiness - important: even though the product is designed for women, we do not want to alienate men (who would probably be the key donor demographic) so not too feminine Colours: mint (C1F1D2) and salmon pink (FFC3B1) are the ones we chose but we are open to your artistic ideas White background so that it can be used on white background materials and website Key info: - make sure that the logo is culturally sensitive and can be well received both in Nigeria as well as in Canada/US/UK - we have thought of incorporating the design of Sayan-Press in the logo but from early feedback, it reminds the audience of a cross and does not evoke the idea we want. If you have an idea how to incorporate it, that'd be great but this is not a requirement (especially if it clashes with the main message) - colours of the Nigerian flag are green and white but many other organisations operating in Nigeria also have the same colours so we want to make it a bit more unique and eye-catching by using the proposed colour scheme - that name to use either Lafiya or Lafiya Nigeria Attached: - the Sayana Press photo - the early-stage design that we decided not to use (association with a cross and religion)
