We're a software company selling our own programming language named "Slice". The language is used to convert complex data into raw binary, so that it can be efficiently stored or sent over the internet.

We're looking for something clean, simple, and modern looking.
Designs should either be based around a single letter `S` or something pictorial that represents the language. The design should NOT include the entire word "Slice". As we feel it's too long. We're looking for eIther the single letter `S` or a pictograph.
For anyone going the pictorial route, the focus should be on programming, the concept and transfer of data, binary, etc. and not just a play on words. It's fine to play into 'slicing' as long as it's not the main focus.
For example, a stylized letter `S` with a slice through the middle is fine.
A slice of cake, or a stylized knife would not be what we're looking for.
