I recently started a legal marketing consultancy. I work with single lawyers to large international law firms to create brand, marketing and client development strategies. I also deal with aspects of communications and PR. My clients are sophisticated consumers. I was a practicing attorney for years before I made the move to marketing, and that background helps me to attract clients.
